You are doing a wonderful thing opening your home. However we acknowledge that this can come with challenges. Sometimes unexpected ones. We have been given funding to offer FREE support to host families/individuals and are currently opening registration to a series of 4 support group sessions.
These sessions will be loosely guided to provide you with a chance to explore the Emotional Logic method and materials and discover how they can support you with the challenges of transitions, minor disputes and unexpected losses. The method will provide a framework for creative conversations (we have the materials in other languages too!). There will also be plenty of time for general chat and a chance to offload in a safe and confidential space if needed. All fuelled by refreshments of course.
The current support group dates are Tuesday 13th & 20th Sept and 4th & 11th Oct from 10am -12pm. The sessions will be held in the wonderful space at the Devon Family Hub in Ivybridge, Devon.
