Emotional Logic in the Community
Wherever people together have to adjust to change, Emotional Logic can equip conversations to explore the most constructive outcomes. Self-help groups, carers support, and pastoral care in church settings have all benefitted from people learning Emotional Logic together.
A pilot among middle managers in business has suggested that stress in the workplace could be reduced when Emotional Logic is included in change management strategies.
"It’s brilliant. It’s not touchy-feely like other emotional literacy stuff. It gives you something to say when kids square up for a fight, or when a pupil is withdrawing and not concentrating as they used to. Students feel more sure of who they are and less edgy when they understand their emotions have useful purposes."
